We are pleased to announce that on October 26th we will release the DVD pack with the two reports by Pere Portabella, a film diptych consisting of General Report on Certain Matters of Interest for a Public Screening, shot in 1976 after the death of dictator Francisco Franco, and the recent General Report II. The New Abduction of Europe, the director’s latest film.
In 1976 Pere Portabella shot a film where he exposed the various political options after Francoism and the beginning of the Spanish Transition. Just 40 years later, the second part of these “reports” shows us the run of a new transition which is driven by a new citizen role emerged from the systemic and global crisis.
