Filmoteca Española is dedicating a retrospective to Pere Portabella at the Doré cinema in April and May.
The retrospective includes all the short and feature films directed by Portabella, from his debut in 1967 with “Don’t count on your fingers”, to “General Report II: The New Abduction of Europe”, released in 2016.
Portabella himself will introduce “Die Stille vor Bach (The Silence Before Bach)” at the Doré cinema, with a subsequent Q&A with the audience, on Wednesday, April 6. On Thursday, April 7, he will introduce the screening of “Warsaw Bridge“.
