On Saturday 29th August, an online meeting with Pere Portabella was organised by ‘Il Cinema Ritrovato’ festival. Pere Portabella spoke with Esteve Riambau, director of the Filmoteca de Catalunya, about the filming of ‘Vampir-Cuadecuc’, his work as a producer with Marco Ferreri and Luis Buñuel, and about current issues such as the current pandemic and the need to recover the European Union.

During the festival, one of the most important in the world in terms of the exhibition of new restorations, a retrospective of the Italian director Marco Ferreri was held, in which the new restoration of ‘The Little Coach’, produced by Pere Portabella, was shown. ‘Vampir-Cuadecuc’ was screened in the Marcello Mastroianni hall as a prelude to one of the festival’s special events, the ‘Meeting with Pere Portabella’.
